NEW CLASSES FOR 2013!!!
I will be teaching at Twist Yarn Shop in downtown Wichita! I am so excited to join the Twist team of ladies (including my very own sister Cori). Amazingly close knit shop on the cutting edge of knitting & crochet trends. Awesome.

Brioche Stitch Learn the basic brioche knitting stitch in two colors. You’ll love this versatile stitch and the soft, warm, fluffy fabric it creates. You’ll create a reversible cowl or infinity scarf in two colors. Brioche is a great technique for intermediate knitters to add to their bag of tricks. Materials: Size US 10 24″ circular needles. Cowl: Worsted weight yarn, 50g each of two contrasting colors OR Infinity Scarf: Worsted weight yarn, 100g each of two contrasting colors. |

Prerequisites: Knit, purl, cast on, bind-off, ability to read a pattern (or K102). |

Double Knitting Double knitting allows you to knit two fabrics at once on one pair of needles. The resulting project allows you to do colorwork and make reversible items. You’ll make a cup cozy for this class, knitting in the round. It’s a lot of fun, and a great new skill for experienced knitters to learn. Materials: Fingering/sport weight yarn, about 20g each of two contrasting colors, size US 4 32″ circular needles or DPN’s OR worsted weight yarn, about 20g each of two contrasting colors, size US 8 32″ circular needles or DPN’s. |

I am temporarily living in Idaho with my kids until our living situation in California gets sorted out again.
For now I am not teaching at any shops although I would still like to do knit and crochet classes here when I can!
I do private lessons in your home or at a designated place of your choosing at $15 an hour
For the last 4 years I have taught at Knit & Pearl Boutique in downtown Santa Barbara.

Entralac Pillow
Thursdays, January 21st and 28th 6:00 to 8:00
The term entrelac means interlaced and is one of those techniques
that look like it’s going to be complicated until you actually do it.
Instead of working one row of stitches after another, you work one
row of blocks after another that is diagonally connected and looks
like it is woven. Pattern included

Simple Summer Sweater
Tuesdays, February 2nd, 9th 23rd and March 2nd 6:00 to 8:00
The Simple Summer Tweed is a “staple” basic top down raglan pullover
with a V or crew neck that can be knit for a casual loose fit or more fitted.
It has a wide range of unisex sizes from Extra Small to XXX-Large.
You’ll be knitting in the round, increases & decreases and minimal seaming.

your sock. This class is limited to 4 knitters.
Skill level: Know all the techniques for knitting socks.
